I realize this is an older post. but I'm still interested about your choice of CMS. What do you currently use to power your site and where's it hosted. Thx.

Hi everyone, This site is excellent and so is how the subject matter was explained. I like some of the comments too although I would suggest everyone stays on the subject matter so that to add value to the message.

Excellent Article! Thanks very much for the info, and I will be writing my own (admittedly simplified) article on this shortly. As for my professional works, I will be taking your advice and "standing on the shoulders of giants," so to speak.

The pole has to be a cylinder, bet even then it is not always working as expected. This is a trial and error process

How best to hide the center /source car? I'm pretty confused about that. Otherwise, this is awesome. Took me a while to figure the settings but it's very nicely done!

Very helpful since I do not have 'Hair'.

One Question though, is there a way to controll the tengent directions at strt and end using expresso? I could not find anything.

This is so great, ive been trying to write a persons name in rope and reeper does not seem to work with 11.5

my only question is, is there any limitations to the actual spline you use? it seems like no matter what I do, if i have a longer, more complicated spline than your tut shows, my sweepsnurb setup starts to look terrible, and changing helix settings only seem to distort it further? any chance im missing some key aspect during my sweeps setup?

Thanks a lot for this tutorial!
I understood the whole process.
A little stuck with the modeling part, not covered here: after Extrude Inner, resulting polygons contain artifacts: few screwed polys with normals pointing inside. Any way other than manual to heal these?

This is not newbie stuff. For this tutorial you will need some kind of basis of c4d.

Hi, I'm a total newbie and I can't get the wind deformer to effect the cylinder for some reason. Is there some obvious key thing that I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much.

Great tutorial! However I don't see how you were able to direct the wind flow to just effect the small range around the object. When I place the wind above the grass even in its smallest form (with falloff) it still manages to blow the entire patch over. If you could get back to me with an answer it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
