This is the third method for connecting cables. This time I am using the Tracer object of Mograph.
This is by far the easiest method and the fastest one too.

I am going to give two examples on how to connect cables. The first with 4 Null Objects and the second with 2 objects (sphere and cube)
Lets get started, add 4 nulls to your scene at different positions. Add a "Tracer" from the MoGraph menu.
Drag the 4 nulls to the "Trace Links" zone of the Tracer. Set the Tracing Mode to "Connect all Objects" and you are done!

You can add as many null as you wish. This is fast and very useful for playing the "Connect the Dots" game.
Second method is to connect two ore more objects directly. Same as above, same speed and same comfort.

MoGraph's Tracer object is a uber-useful function and I am just starting to discover what you can do with it.

it looks very nice... i made the connection, but don't get it, how you see the "cable" in the render.
can you tell how this works?
I see the cable due to a SweepNurms object
cool, it works, thanx!
As part of an animation I want to show a plug and cable beeing pulled out of the socket. How should I attach the plug to the cable, that it picks up the Rotation of the cable's end?
