Spline Shader Text

Just a little reminder about the "Spline Shader".
You can make a texture with a text from within Cinema4d in just a few seconds.

Follow up:

Cinema4d includes a very handy shader called "Spline".
It allows you to make a texture with any given spline.
And it also allows you to make a texture with text and that can be very useful.

Here are all the possible settings of the shader. I used color for the letters and the background but any shader will do.

Enjoy playing around with it.

BTW: The text can be also be defined in xpresso so you can show frame numbers or any other kind of information.

I very seldom use the spline shader because I find it takes a while to render. I assume the interpolation of the spline has something to do with that and have done several tests to optimize, but no luck. Now I only use the spline shader when I need it to solve a specific problem. It's a pity, cause I love splines and would probably use it more often if it were faster. Have you had the same results?
