BaseCar 0.4.1 beta
Here is the latest "Base-Car" Xpresso.
Base-Car is an easy set-up to animate your cars. The car follows a given spline. You can set up the length and other parameters of your car in the User-Data of the Car-Sys Null-object. This latest version handles a bumpy terrain and has a suspention system. Enjoy!

I am thinking about updating the setup dramatically but that will not be in the near future
im doing something with a van driving up a curb.
do you have a good step by stewp tutorial for this build.
i could use a diferent spline and match over my van but would really like to know
how this is done please please.
this would be such a big step in terms of breaking some boundries.
here's hoping

this is great ( and great U share it) bud I noticed, that it didn´t work with scene-motionblure?

For example, I would move my controller along the XZ axis and the car would make sure it doesn't go through the ground, at the same time stays directly above the car?
For example, I would move my controller along the XZ axis and the car would move along with it while still colliding with the floor? Can your rig do that?
(sorry, I messed up on my old post)
To answer the guy above, to hide the original car mesh and leave just the instance, put all the CarSys stuff and original car/wheel meshes into a layer, and the Instance of the mesh into another layer. Turn off the render switch for the CarSys layer and leave the new layer renderable. Presto.
Thanks for the excellent xpresso scripting! Here's a question to the creator, or anyone else checking the responses.
I'm wondering if there's a super quick modification to make the BaseCar script work in such a way that a car can drive upside down. Please take a look at this reference video:

Can the car drive continually on the outside of the spline as though it were driving around the small planet?
Thanks,
